Remove your data
Control your phone connection and your data.
This page is for users of the OpenWeb PBX Android app. You can request help even if you no longer have the app installed.
Remove this phone
- Open the app and choose Settings → Disconnect.
- Confirm Disconnect. Your phone’s access is revoked and its local connection details and pending call history are removed.
- To remove local data while your server is unavailable, use Android Settings → Apps → OpenWeb PBX → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app. Ask your PBX administrator to revoke the old phone connection too.
This removes a device connection. Your extension, server call history, recordings and voicemail are separate records managed by your organisation.
Request account and server data removal
Contact your PBX administrator and request deletion of your extension/account and the associated call history, voicemail, recordings and device records. If OpenWeb manages your service, or you need help finding your administrator, email hello@openwebpbx.com — request data removal.
Include your PBX website address, extension and a reply email address. State whether you want the whole account removed or only specific records. Do not send your password, SIP password, QR code or call recordings. The administrator may need to verify that you control the account before acting.
What may remain
Your administrator must explain any records retained for security, billing or a legal obligation, and their retention period. Backups may expire on a separate schedule. OpenWeb cannot directly delete records on an independently operated server; we can help you contact its administrator. Ask for confirmation of what was deleted, what remains and when retained records will expire.
Read the privacy policy for the information used by the app.
